Citrus cumquart, also known as Fortunella japonica, is a small, ornamental citrus tree that produces edible fruit. It is a hybrid of kumquat (Fortunella margarita) and calamondin (Citrofortunella microcarpa).
The tree is small, growing up to 6-10 feet in height, and has a bushy growth habit. It has dark green leaves and fragrant white flowers that bloom in the spring. The fruit is small, oval-shaped, and orange in color, with a sweet-tart flavor that is similar to a kumquat.
Citrus cumquart is relatively easy to care for and can be grown in containers or in the ground. It prefers full sun
