It is a deciduous flowering tree that is highly valued for its lovely lavender-pink flowers, attractive bark, and tolerance to heat and drought.The Lagerstroemia Zuni plant typically grows to a height of around 10-12 feet and has a spread of 8-10 feet. It produces clusters of delicate lavender-pink flowers that bloom in the summer, and its bark is a smooth, gray color that peels off in thin, papery sheets to reveal a mottled, light brown underlayer.
