Lagerstroemia indica x L. fauriei 'Biloxi' is a hybrid crepe myrtle tree that is commonly grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and landscapes. It is a cross between Lagerstroemia indica (Chinese crepe myrtle) and Lagerstroemia fauriei (Japanese crepe myrtle).'Biloxi' is known for its striking dark pink to red flowers that bloom in summer, and its attractive bark that peels away to reveal a smooth, cinnamon-colored underlayer. It typically grows to a height of 20-25 feet, with a spread of 15-20 feet. This hybrid tree is generally low-maintenance and can tolerate a range of soil conditions, but it prefers well-draining soil and full sun exposure for optimal growth and blooming. It is also relatively drought-tolerant once established.
